The Sea Urchin is a brand new offering from Ticino. This model is a very solid vintage diver watch. It’s a 41mm all brushed stainless steel case design, secured by screws. It comes on a very comfortable rubber strap that also looks real nice on this particular watch model. The movement is of top quality made by Seiko. The watch has a raised and domed scratchproof sapphire crystal. The bezel is scratchproof ceramic with lume. You can feel comfortable diving with this watch to 660 feet below the ocean.

I’m not sure why there aren’t any reviews on this watch, so here’s mine. I’ve had this watch for about a month now and I love it. It checks off almost everything I like in a watch. No date window, clean looking dial without, even cleaner looking bezel insert. The bezel itself turns very crisply with minimal backlash. Drilled and threaded lugs are awesome. I immediately changed over to a grey NATO strap and it looks perfect, for me.
What do you get? Well, what did you order? A watch. You don’t get a nice little box with a watch on a satin pillow and tags you don’t want to cut, but carefully remove. It comes wrapped in bubble wrap with a warranty card. Some people have an issue with how they receive the watch in the mail. I guess it could be packed with more newspapers or something, but I received it, no problems, without damage. My only gripe and this is partly my fault, is that I purchased this directly from Sizzlin Watches website and paid $220.00. They also have an eBay store selling this watch for $179.00. $40.00 is $40.00 and I would have liked to save that money. Again, I never checked eBay, partly, my fault.
Anyway, this is a great watch. I’m not disappointed in it one bit and is one of my favorites.
